CANCÚN March 29, 2020 – GigNet, a Digital Infrastructure company with a 200- kilometer network from Costa Mujeres to Cancun to Playa del Carme to Tulum, today announced a new GigNet residential Internet service in Tulum, Puerto Aventuras and Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

The GigNet office in the heart of Downtown Tulum is now in full operation with a team of technical and customer support personnel headed by Carlos Carranza, to serve the connectivity needs of hotels, enterprises and residences in the area. The Tulum Network Point of Presence (PoP), one of 8 GigNet PoPs along its fully redundant network, has been operational since August 2019.
GigNet has built PoPs in the Mexican Caribbean to bring the service delivery point closer to its prospective customers in order to reduce connection times and increase the availability of its network. GigNet stands alone in offering its customers in the Mexican Caribbean a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with 99.99% availability.
